How do I invite candidates to submit a video introduction?
JobPixel provides options both within our platform and outside our platform, for inviting candidates to submit a video introduction.
From any job in your account, click Share Job and select from the following options:
Invite via Email/SMS
Invite candidates through JobPixel's platform using email or text message. Enter candidates individually or upload candidates in bulk with our CSV template.
1. From your My JobPixels Dashboard, navigate to any job and click Share Job, then Invite via Email/SMS
3. On the modal, you will be presented with two options for importing candidates.
- Option 1: CSV Upload - Your CSV file needs to include the following columns for each candidate:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone (This is optional, but required if you intend to send text messages)
- To access a sample CSV template, click here. Once ready, simply drag & drop or browse to add your CSV file.
- Option 2: Manually enter records one by one
4.Once your list is imported, review it for accuracy. You can delete any record by hovering over the row and clicking the red trashcan. To start over, click Reupload CSV
5. If you are satisfied with your candidate list, click Next to continue to the message template. On this screen you will be able to choose to send an Email, Text Message or both Email & Text Message.
6. Though default text is provided, feel free to make any edits you want, including inserting dynamic variables by clicking on them in the bottom row of the template. Note: While you can include the JobURL in the body of your message, it will also automatically be embedded behind the job preview image.
7. If you wish to re-use this template in the future, you can give it a Template Name and click Save Template. When you return next time, you can select saved templates from the dropdown.
8. Before sending your message, decide if you want to send an automated reminder to your candidates after two days giving them a nudge to complete their video. This will be enabled by default (we highly recommend it!)
9. Once you are satisfied with your message, click Send.
Copy public job link
This generates a unique share link that will be automatically copied to your clipboard for you to share anywhere, with anyone.
Copy invite template
This generates a pre-formatted message template and copies it directly to your clipboard for use on either Indeed or Zip Recruiter. Simply navigate to your account on Indeed or Zip Recruiter and paste from your clipboard into their message center.
