What are best practices for creating a video job description?

The video job description is a valuable tool for engaging candidates in the hiring process.

Here are some best practices to keep in mind:

1. Let the Candidate know why they are receiving your video job description and that you would like to get to know them with a brief video introduction in return.

2. Include a strong Call-to-Action asking the Candidate to click the "Record video now" button to create their video introduction.

3. Don't worry about making mistakes, you can record your video as many times as you like before submitting. If you prefer not to record live, you can record your video outside of JobPixel and choose "Upload video" during the "Create a Job" flow.

4. Aim for a clear, concise video that is no more than 2 minutes long

5. Introduce yourself and your Company

6. Describe the role (who is your ideal candidate, daily responsibilities, special skills preferred, etc)

7. Ask any questions you wish the candidate to address in their video introduction
